Description
Glassless Mirror Mounting Brackets for Wall and Ceiling Installation
Glassless Mirror Mounting Brackets are made of lightweight aluminum. The mounting holes are slotted for easy adjustment to counteract an imperfect mounting surface. Wall and Ceiling Brackets can be exposed to show off the hand-brushed aluminum finish or mounted so they are hidden behind the mirror panel giving a floating mirror effect. Wall mounted mirrors come with (2) wall brackets along with screws to mount them to the mirrors.
Glassless Mirror Wall and Ceiling Mounting Brackets are designed specifically to mount Glassless Mirrors to walls and ceilings. The use of these Mounting Assemblies is the item to use when there is no Grid Ceiling or Suspended Ceiling. There are many standard sizes available which are offered at a better price than custom designed sizes. Installation can be made to most any flat surface with little or no preparation. Because of its light weight, wall inserts, and supports are eliminated. The Glassless Mirror can be mounted directly to finished plaster, wood paneling, interior partitioning. Installation can be to wall board such as sheetrock using drywall anchors or sleeve hollow wall anchors.
For Glassless Mirror Wall or Ceiling mounting the installer will need a pair of wall mount brackets. These can be purchased here in a package of two brackets. Rectangular Mirrors have mounting holes to allow hanging on the long or short dimension. The light weight and shatterproof qualities of Glassless Mirror Wall and ceiling Panels are beneficial in installation. It allows Glassless Mirror and Wall Ceiling panels to be suspended from the ceiling with wire or nylon line. This is not required in standard suspension systems as they are easily adapted for glassless mirror installation. The aluminum frame can be drilled for various self-tapping fasteners giving the designer freedom to devise attachments.
Plan The Insulation Method
When installing Glassless Mirror Wall & ceiling Panels the installer is responsible for selecting a mounting method. The installation method must be suitable to the type of wall to which the panels are mounted. Regardless of size the glassless mirror panels consist of a rigid foam core framed by an aluminum extrusion. The frame has a raised lip around the four edges. A polyester film, metalized on the back side, stretched across the raised edges to form the mirror surface. Because the film is mounted on raised edges. An air space is created between the back of the film and the core. This air space, one-eighth inch allows the film to flex under minor impact without damage.
